Anza Borrego State Park – Palm Canyon Campground

Palm Canyon Campground Borrego Springs California
View from the sites on the north end of the campground

We have stayed at the Palm Canyon Campground countless times and find that even through it can be almost full in the winter (Jan, Feb, March) we can almost always get a spot for a few nights.  We sometimes make reservations ahead of time if need be but not always.  The park was less than 50% full in December, what a welcome change!

The park has palm trees at almost every site and lots of hummingbirds and a few roadrunners running through the desert. Just enough entertainment to keep us going but not too much to disrupt our peaceful existence!
