Bakersfield Palms RV Park – Bakersfield, California

Bakersfield Palms RV Park

The reason we selected this park is they advertise a section of the RV park dedicated to “Overnighters” with 70′ pul-thrus. Perfect for when you just need a quick stopover and don’t want to unhook your tow vehicle. We have stayed in the area before and like to check out different RV parks/campgrounds when we have a chance. So we decided to try a different park from last time we were here.

RV Park: Bakersfield Palms RV Park
Location: Bakersfield, California
Site: 302
Cost: $27
Services: FHU
Comments: A typical RV park right in town next to a railroad track (a busy one at that). Why would you expect it not to be next to a train track? A bit noisy from the trains, the traffic, and a few sirens now and then but tolerable for an overnighter. WiFi worked fine and our phone had a good LTE cell/data signal.

Yes, even Bakersfield can have a beautiful sunrise.  Just take the smog, fog, and low clouds and “Voila”, a picturesque sunrise…along with some power lines…and what have you.

A bit of smog and a bit of fog = sunrise
