Joshua Tree National Park – Out and About

We took a day trip and drove into the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park along Park Blvd towards Hidden Valley and admired all the rock formations. We made sure we left early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

We drove to Keys View and happened to have a clear day which gave us fabulous views. Usually the Coachella Valley is hazy, smoggy, and hard to see. This day was great!

We enjoy the views and looking at all the rock formations but we also love the Joshua Trees especially when they are blooming.

The weather while we were there was cool and crisp and clear and unfortunately, something that is very rare for southern California. Even in the city of Yucca Valley there were great views.
