Cave Creek Regional Park – Cave Creek, Arizona

We left Quartzsite and headed on I-10 east to Hwy 60 via Aguila and Wickenburg over to Carefree Hwy in Cave Creek. We were planning to head back to Cave Creek Regional Campground for another few weeks of hiking and visiting friends and family AND rotate camp sites! We continue to return to this campground because we are in the process of having a house built with a big RV garage and wanted to keep on eye on the progression.

We spend our days checking on the house, hiking the park trails, watching the wildlife, and just enjoying the area.

One day we attended the Great Phoenix RV Show in downtown Phoenix. We are ALWAYS checking out RVs!  It was held at the Phoenix Convention Center on the 3rd floor. They hauled all these big rigs up to the 3rd floor on huge elevators!!  It also gave me a chance to play with photography with some artsy shots around downtown.

We walked past a sign showing the agenda for seminars and lo and behold there was Linda and Howard from www.RV-Dreams.com. We had met them a number of years ago while boondocking in Borrego Springs, California and ran into them again at City of Rocks in New Mexico. We really wanted to chat with them but they were in the middle of a presentation and it sure looked like they had a full day of working. Hello to Linda and Howard!  We also saw a nice comparison chart for Sprinters.

One day we accidentally ran across a car show in Scottsdale so, of course, we had to check it out!

Cave Creek and Carefree are at a bit of a higher elevation that most of the valley and we had a few mornings where we woke up to frost! Time to move on and move in!!
