The Hoodoo RV Resort and Campground – Drumheller, Alberta

We departed Elkwater at Cypress Hills in southeastern Alberta and headed to Medicine Hat via Highway 1.

From Medicine Hat we continued on north to Highway 56 and entered the Canadian Badlands of Drumheller!  Welcome to Drumheller!

We were staying at The Hoodoo RV Resort which is a bit east of town and close to the famous Hoodoos and Hoodoos Trail.

Camground: The Hoodoo RV Resort and Campground
Location: Drumheller, Alberta
Site: 111 (back-in)
Cost: $44.10 (CAD) – includes tax
Services: W/E (30 AMP)
Comments: A nice RV park just outside of town along the Red Deer River. The location worked fine for us and we had a lovely stay here.

Most of the campsites were very similar in size and all sites were level. The big distinction was where in the campground they were located with some that are right next to the Red Deer River.  There is also a nice section that is for long term campers but it was in a separate area.

The campground is right on Red Deer River with nice nature trail.
