Quebec City KOA Holiday – Saint-Nicholas, Quebec

We made it to Quebec! We drove from Edmunston, New Brunswick to Quebec City passing through beautiful countryside along the St. Lawrence River and even passed an Accordion Museum. I wasn’t allowed to stop…something about not wanting to hear someone try and learn the accordion all the way across the country. Just nonsense!

We headed to the KOA Quebec City which is actually in Saint-Nicholas which is a bit to the south of Quebec City. It is right off Highway 20 on the south side of the St. Lawrence River and is about 10 miles from old town Quebec City.  KOA offers shuttle service (for a fee – $20 CAD per person round trip) to and from Quebec City.  Perfect!  Another option is to drive to Levis and take a pedestrian ferry from/to Quebec City.

RV Park: Quebec City KOA
Location: Saint-Nicholas (suburb of Quebec City – on south side of river – about 10 miles from Quebec City)
Site: O-1 (pull thru) deluxe patio site
Cost: $76.74 (CAD)

Comments: Our site was way in the back which kept us away from highway noise.  The KOA is a perfect location for being close to Quebec City.  The location offers easy access both in and out of the park.

The KOA is right off the highway and is rather noisy by the office. There are a few sites located at the front by the office and all the cabins are located there too. Further back are where the majority of sites are located, down a hill, and behind some trees.  That area makes it feel less like a crowded metropolitan area.
