Vines RV Resort – Paso Robles, California

We just stayed at the Vines RV Resort sister resort down the street called Wine Country RV Resort. Due to site availability issues (holiday weekend) we moved from Wine Country to Vines for our last few days in the area. The funny part about this is I had researched both RV parks and read as many reviews as I could between the two parks and they sounded very similar BUT it appeared to me that Wine Country would probably be the better choice. After staying at both parks we would probably be inclined to return to Vines before we would stay at Wine Country (so basically I was wrong).  Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wine Country and the views were terrific we felt the sites and the streets were quite a bit tighter at Wine Country. Traffic nosie was comparable at both meaning it was a bit loud.  Wine Country is hilly with views and Vines is flat and wide streets. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at both resorts.

RV Park: Vines RV Resort
Location: Paso Robles, California (north of town on the east side of Hwy 101)
Site: 60 (back-in)
Cost: $80
Services: FHU
Comments: Our site was nestled back in the corner away from the highway. It was a long site with plenty of room for the tow vehicle plus more space. Each sites has blue reflectors down the drivers side of the pavement to aid in backing in. My husband loved these!

This RV park is a lovely, meticulously maintained RV Park with beautiful buildings (office, ballrooms, lounge, library, sitting areas, laundry room, showers, etc) and a lovely outdoor area with 2 pools, a jacuzzi, and lots of sitting areas with both portable fire pits (with wood ready to burn) and a large outdoor fireplace with a great seating area next to it.  The outdoor furniture all looked new and/or nicely cared for and there were plenty of different places to just sit and enjoy the outdoors. If you like luxury and refinement this is the place for you.

Sites 12-52 back up to Hwy 101 with all the traffic noise and of course, the other sites can hear the noise too. Oh did I mention there is a train track nearby? Of course! But you are in close proimixty to a wonderful area. This is a first class resort.
