We departed Layton, Utah to the sounds of jets roaring above us from Hill AFB. The Sound of Freedom. On our way south we headed west on I-80 to skirt the southern edge of the Great Salt Lake and pass the Great Salt Lake State Park and the famous Saltair.

Today was a long drive as we headed south through Montana seeing roundups along the way, then on to Idaho checking out crops and crop dusters, passing Malelucca (one of our favorite companies) in Idaho Falls, admiring the scenery in Pocatello (one of our favorite towns), and on into Utah!
