Blake Ranch RV Resort – Kingman, Arizona

We drove south from Valley of Fire State Park through Lake Mead National Recreation Area (NRA) to Kingman, Arizona. We like to drive through the Lake Mead NRA instead of through Las Vegas as it makes for a beautiful, quiet, peaceful drive. We love it there.

We continued east  on I-40  past Kingman for about 15 miles to the turn off for Blake Ranch. We had stayed at this RV Park a few years back but we dry camped at that time. Now, it is too hot for that.

RV Park: Blake Ranch RV Resort
Location: East of Kingman, Arizona on the north side of I-40
Site: 11 (pull thru) – no need to unhook the toad
Cost: $40.45 (includes Good Sam Discount and tax)
Services: FHU (50AMP)
Comments: A nicely maintained full hookup RV park right off I-40. It didn’t have much road noise and was easy to navigate with a big rig. It is perfect for an overnighter.

The sites are all pretty similar and all level. The biggest difference was which way they faced.

We even saw a truck with our name on it while driving there.
