Campground: Rockhound State Park
Location: Deming, New Mexico (southeast about 9 miles)
Site: 15
Cost: $14
Services: E (30Amp), W
Comments: A beautiful spacious campground set in the foothills of the Little Florida mountains with large sites which are very well maintained. There is a dump station on site.

Sites 0-5 are dry camping and in a separate loop. The sites are very similar to the hookup sites with being spacious and well maintained.  The hookup sites, sites 6 to 29, are on a hill with sites 15 and 16 at the top. Most are level and a few may present a challenge but all provide nice views.

There are a few short trails around the campground called Thunderegg Trail and Jasper Trail. Both trails have nice views of the surrounding area.

And, as usual, every night provides magnificent sunsets and city lights.
