Broad Cove Campground – Cape Breton Highlands National Park – Nova Scotia

On the eastern side of Cape Breton Highlands National Park is another campground called Broad Cove Campground.  It sits on the southeast entrance to the park.  We stayed here for a few nights so we could spend time exploring the eastern side of Cabot Trail and the park.

Campground: Broad Cove Campground
Location: Ingonish, Nova Scotia (east side of National Park on Cape Breton Island)
Site: 39 (pull thru)
Cost: $49.20 (CAD)
Services: FHU
Comments: A fine campground with nice sized campsites. We had an end site which gave us more distance but there was only a few other campers there so there was lots of room. There was WiFi available but it was very slow. There was a laundromat at the campground with 2 washers and 2 dryers. I can’t image being able to use it during the peak season but for us it was no problem! We love Canada parks!

This campground has multiple loops, over 200 sites, both serviced and unserviced, walking trails, and a sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean. The campground is close to the town of Ingonish for a full variety of restaurants and shops.
