Dawson City is a fun area to visit with a great town full of wonderful old buildings with lots of history. Further south is Bonanza Creek where you can do some panning for gold at the KVA free claim #6 and then visit the nearby Dredge #4 which is fantastic to see. We loved our time here and can’t wait to return.

Comments: Great sites right along the Yukon River. Doesn’t get much better than this. If you want to go to town, Dawson City, then you will need to take the ferry across the Yukon River but it doesn’t take long and you meet lots of interesting people waiting in line.

Yes, Class A’s can travel on the ferry. Be careful off-loading…but they help you!
