After leaving the Yukon we headed south on the Cassiar Highway and stopped at beautiful Boya Lake. Again, one of our favorite spots! A beautiful campground and during the summer it is light so long that is is hard to even think about going to sleep. The beauty, solitude, and peacefulness surrounds you. We took a hike after 10pm at night and walked for an hour or so into the woods surrounded by lakes (making noise all the time just in case of bears). We stopped along a lake and took in the beauty. We never saw another person around and it was just the two of us. Suddenly we heard some noise and off in the distance we could see two moose frolicking in the water. We watched them for a long time. It was a beautiful sight.
When we left Boya Lake we headed on south to Kinaskin Lake and stopped for lunch along the lake. We checked out the campground there and all decided it looked like a great place to overnight. Maybe next time!
