The center of town is Christmas Circle, a round about with a park in the center which holds a Farmer’s Market every Friday and offers free Wi-Fi.

The town of Borrego Springs has a few citrus groves where you can stop by and purchase, via the honor system, some fresh citrus. At the time we were there it was only grapefruit available and it was delicious!

And a trip to Borrego is never complete without heading to Julian for some of Mom’s Apple Pie. We selected a day which was rainy and overcast which meant we didn’t have to fight any crowds. YAY!
