We left Central Alberta and headed south to Taber, corn capital of Canada. We stayed here last year and really liked the campground. It is a perfect location to stop for the night before crossing the border into the US.

The campground is easy to find and is located along the Oldman River. The campground has pull-thru sites and back-ins with electric but no sewer hookups. There is a dump station on site.

Comments: A lovely, peaceful campground with nice walking trails and easy access to the river.

The Trail 77 Association in Taber provides single track multiuse trails for hiking, biking ,and running with about 30 kms (almost 20 miles) and over 40 trails. The campground has a map of the trails and offers easy access. There are also a few short trails to the Oldman River.

The campground provided sprinklers and a slip-n-slide along with an ice cream vendor who came driving through the campground playing music. Campers and day-users made use of the slide AND the ice cream sales!

A lovely campground.
