We headed south from Taber and crossed the border in the USA with no problems and no wait. We were soon heading south on I-15 in Montana and making our way to Helena. We stopped at a Montana Rest Area (which we consider Montana to have the best rest areas in the country) and in typical fashion Norm had to get out and weigh himself on the scales!!
The Helena North KOA is just off I-15 with easy access. It was a quick check-in followed by a quick setup. Soon enough we were relaxing from the long day of driving!

RV Park: Helena North KOA Journey
Location: Helena, Montana (about 10 miles north of downtown Helena)
Site: 50 (pull thru)
Cost: $65.12
Services: FHU
Comments: A nicely maintained RV park with clean facilities. It was easy access and easy to navigate the park. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants nearby.

The RV Park not only has pull thru sites and tent sites but also some yurts and cabins to rent.
It is a typical KOA park with a small store and gathering areas for sitting and playing games.
A fine enough RV Park for an overnight.
