The 50,000 Silver $ is a bar, gift shop, restaurant, casino, RV Park, motel, and gas station. It sits off I-90 about halfway between Missoula, Montana and Spokane, Washington. It started in 1952 in Alberton, Montana where customers would press silver dollars into the bar countertop as a way to commemorate their visit. The bar’s name evolved over time from 2,000 Silver Dollar Bar to today’s 50,000 Silver $. In 1956 the bar was moved to Haugan, Montana where it still sits today. It is a must stop if you are in the area.
The RV Park is first come first serve and sits behind the casino and the motel. It is free and no check in is required. Just go find a place to park and hook up power if there are any pedestals remaining.

Comments: A great place for an overnight with electricity. We could not hear I-90 at night but we did have the heat on!
There are maybe around 10 sites with 4 or 5 of them offering power. There are even corrals available should you be trailering your horses.
The bar has a large shop, a restaurant, and lots of silver dollars!
There is also a small motel on site next to the gas station (not shown). You can see our rig back behind the motel.
It was a convenient stop and a fun place to visit and shop.
